I founded Slayed by Yili in December 2024 with one mission: to create protective hairstyles that are neat, long-lasting and genuinely comfortable — in a space that feels like a luxury salon, not a rushed appointment.

I specialise in braids, twists and cornrows — from the intricate parting of Fulani braids to the effortless finish of boho braids. Every client, whether it's your first braid appointment or your fiftieth, gets my full attention.

My studio is home-based in South Shields / Newcastle (NE31). It's calm, private and set up for a slow, considered experience. My goal is simple: I want every client to leave feeling beautiful and confident.
